Hello, these are Fruitiks. They are cute and are a fun way to decorate your home or teach children about good nutrition. I would like to share with you how I make them. Let's make a Strawberry Fruitik! (Time required - about 6 hours.)
I used red, orange, and green merino wool, felting needles, and plastic eyes.
It takes me about half an hour to felt the main shape of the strawberry.
It is still not ready if it is soft and fibers are seen.
Now, this looks almost edible!
This will be enough for one leaf.
I will make six leaves.
It's starting to take shape.
Very carefully I shape the sides.
All six should look about the same shape.
It's time to attach them to the strawberry!
This is how I start attaching them.
Attaching them one by one.
I think it needs a stem.
Here is how it is made.
Putting it in place.
Every strawberry has seeds.
One by one using the tiniest peices of orange wool.
Let's bring it to life by adding eyes. First I need to make indents.
The eyes are ready. Time to make it cuter by adding eyelids.
I need two flat circles.
Carefully attaching them on top of the eye.
Folding it up.
Putting them in place.
Final shaping of the eyelid. Same for the second eye.
